www.tanhei.com reported that according to China Rubber Journal, Jiangsu General Science Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "GS") just had its new all-steel OTR tyre sized 16.00R25 officially rolled off the production line. This product is engineered for heavy-duty dump trucks in mining area.

GS has been focusing on R&D, production and sales of a wide range of tyres, and owns two key production bases in Wuxi, China and Thailand.

The first-phase investment of the Thailand factory is $300 million for an annual output of 1 million all-steel radial tires and 6 million semi-steel radial tires. As of today, it has reached its full production capacity.

In Dec 2021, an additional $75 million was invested to the Thailand factory to achieve an extra annual production capacity of 300,000 units of all-steel tires to strengthen our supply chain capabilities.

The planned Cambodia factory is designed with an annual output of 6 million semi-steel radial tires, with a total investment of $191 million. The groundbreaking ceremony was held in the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone on Jan 27, 2022.

GS's second factory in China will be built in Anqing, Anhui Province, with an investment of $450 million to achieve an annual production capacity of 10.2 million high-performance radial tires.
